Last May, Tarkett was present at the inauguration of the Showroom organized by Cefur, the center for research and development of Ronneby city for the promotion C2C.
As part of its involvement with C2C, Tarkett participated in the inauguration ceremony of the C2C Showroom with a presentation on the Group’s sustainability strategy by Anne Christine Ayed, Tarkett Executive Vice President Research, Innovation & Environment. Tarkett installed wood, linoleum and iQ Natural floorings in the Showroom and has a permanent booth with posters of its environmental strategy and examples of raw materials used.
Putting people and the environment is at the heart of Tarkett sustainable strategy with the objective to not only minimize impacts on the environment but to create a positive contribution to the planet. Since 2011 Tarkett applies the Cradle to Cradle principles, assessing and choosing product materials that are good for health and the environment and can be reused in technological or biological cycles at the end of use of the product.
Tarkett has already obtained three Cradle to Cradle certifications for its linoleum, wood product ranges and Johnsonite Rubber tile range. To learn more about the C2C Showroom and discover more Tarkett news, read the July Experiences Newsletter.
