[Southwick, Mass.] The Connecticut Floor Covering Association (CFCA) held its annual Spring Golf Outing on June 4 at The Ranch, here. The event is the major fundraiser of the year for the CFCA, with the proceeds going to both the House of Bread in Hartford, Conn., and the CFCA Scholarship fund.
The Spring Golf outing was attended by a record 131 golfers, including retailers and commercial flooring contractors from both Western Massachusetts and Connecticut, as well as many distributor and mill reps. Through the hard work of its Board of Directors, as well as the generosity of its’ multiple sponsors, the CFCA event was able to raise more than $14,000 for its charitable causes.
Michael Cosgrove, president of the CFCA said, “This event was so successful because of the hard work and commitment of everyone involved and a special thanks to all the golfers who came out in support of the CFCA and the House of Bread. Without the support of our members and affiliates, this outing could not have been possible. Also, thank you to The Ranch for putting on a great event and being so hospitable to our guests.”
